OOH boosts awareness and sales for ADU developer

AUD Geeks is a San Diego company helping homeowners take their dreams of building an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) from vision to reality. The brand partnered with Clear Channel Outdoor (CCO) to launch an out-of-home (OOH) campaign that would increase brand awareness, and bring in new customers.
CCO built a campaign that focused on neighborhoods with properties meeting the necessary plot-sized requirements. To obtain 100% share of voice, the campaign leveraged a series of printed boards in the targeted areas.
Designing a campaign around printed billboards targeting key neighborhoods, proved very successful. The brand enjoyed significant lifts in every desired metric and KPI.
OOH campaign drove up sales by 369%
With sales up by 369% compared to the pre-campaign period, the company’s owner enthusiastically remarked that OOH advertising “was the best decision we could have made for ourselves.”
Inbound calls up 60%
Thanks to the OOH campaign, the phone lines at ADU Geeks are ringing 60% more than before the campaign launched. That welcomed development prompted the owner to comment that “without fail, (customers) who call, come to us with trust already established, “ and how that trust made initial conversations “way smoother.”
Google Search activity rose 511%
As a direct result of the OOH campaign, Google Search activity increased by 511%. What’s more, the brand experienced a lift in overall web traffic of more than four times the pre-launch amount.
